Dollhouse Gallery
I have made a total of five large commission dollhouses (this number does not include smaller builds/houses and the stables/churches and repurpose builds to date). Three of the commissioned houses were made primarily from rosewood, with slight variations in design to the "Angela Law Dollhouse 2008 - 2010" (images included in this Gallery). I will endeavour to add more images upon gaining permission from the collectors. Note: Commissioned Dollhouses made for collectors were all completed with blank interiors.
The Angela Law Dollhouse 2008-2010 is one of three houses made during this time (all made from Rosewood and each one differing slightly in design), two with private collectors (with blank interiors) and this one kept by the maker (me). This house has handmade wall panels and fittings all crafted and carved from mixed woods including French walnut, Pear wood, Oak and of course the remaining salvaged rosewood. There are over one thousand handmade items within the house including sourced and collected antiques such as Dutch Silver miniatures (inc. Chandeliers) from the 1800s. Individualy laid real tiles/flagstones and floor boards (nailed) as well as handmade ceilings adorn each room. Flickering fireplaces (electrical and battery operated) as well as electrically operated lighting and candles give this house a warm and inviting feel. Do come inside.
